The final judges’ scores were 40-33, 40-33, 39-35, all for the 21-year-old Porter.

By Nate Anderson: Nigerian super middleweight Tony Salam (8-1, 4 KOs) defeated Richard Horton (6-2, 1 KOs) by a 4th round TKO to win the vacant BBBofC Southern Area super middleweight title on Saturday night at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, in London. The bout was stopped in the 4th round after a nasty cut opened up over the left eye of Horton. The referee then marched Horton over to the ringside doctor, who advised that the fight be stopped. At 1:23, Richard James Davies officially stopped the bout.
Janik Stops Hudon
By Dan Ambrose: Unbeaten Polish cruiserweight prospect Lukasz Janik (12-0, 6 KOs) took out Canadian Martin Hudon (2-2-1, 2 KOs) in the 4th round on Friday night at the Bell Centre, in Montreal, Canada. Janik, 23, hurt Hudon with a hard left hand early in the 4th round, and then buried him with a flurry of shots as Hudon stood covering up on the ropes.

Murat, 24, controlled the entire fight, using a powerful body attack to keep Fiaert bottled up and on the defensive. Murat is the younger brother of super middleweight contender Karo Murat. There were no knockdowns in the fight, but Murat made it exciting with his huge body shots in each round.

The final judges’ scores were 118-111, 118-110 and 118-110.
