By Dan Ambrose: Oscar De La Hoya is saying that Gennady Golovkin could cause the Saul Canelo Alvarez fight to be put in jeopardy if he fights Billy Joe Saunders on June 10. Why Golovkin does NOT have to face Jacobs Again
By Justin Graham: Gennady “GGG” Golovkin has gone from being a relatively unknown former Olympic silver medalist from Kazakhstan in 2012 to one of boxing’s biggest stars and top pound-for-pound fighters in just a few years. However, for Golovkin, like most foreign fighters that come to America, there will always be the group of fans, mostly casual boxing fans, who will seemingly never give him his due credit for anything. A lot of those fans’ are now saying that Daniel Jacobs beat Golovkin and that he should get an immediate rematch. No, GGG does not have to face Danny Jacobs again.
Saunders says Golovkin getting old, ready to beat him

Saunders says he told the boxing fans a little over a year ago that he wanted to wait 18 months to 2 years before facing Golovkin. That time has now gone by and Saunders is ready to fight Golovkin and beat him in his own country of Kazakhstan.
Saunders-Golovkin on June 10 could jeopardize Canelo-Golovkin says Gomez
By Dan Ambrose: Golden Boy President Eric Gomez is reportedly concerned with the rumors of IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin facing WBO 160 pound champion Billy Joe Saunders on June 10, because it could get in the way of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez facing Triple G in September.
Golovkin’s promoter Tom Loeffler shutdown the Saunders-Golovkin rumors this week by saying that they have no plans on fighting him on June 10. A fight between Golovkin and Saunders would very likely be a short one with the fight ending in 6 rounds or less.
