By Jim Dower: The heavyweight clash between contenders Alexander Dimitrenko (32-1, 21 KO’s) and Kubrat Pulev (15-0, 7 KO’s) will be taking place on the undercard of WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck’s title defense against top challenger Ola Afolabi on May 5th at the Messehalle, Erfurt, Thuriengen, Germany. Dimitrenko and Pulev will be battling for the EBU heavyweight regional strap.

Also on the card will be a fight between Arthur Abraham and Piotr Wilczewski in super middleweight action.

By Jim Dower: EBU heavyweight champion Alexander Dimitrenko (30-1, 20 KO’s) will be defending his European Boxing Union title against Polish heavyweight Albert Sosnowski (46-3-1, 28 KO’s) on March 26th in Frankfurt, Germany. The fighters were set to fight in December but Dimitrenko fainted in the dressing room before the fight, causing the fight to be called off. Both Dimitrenko and Sosnowski are fringe contenders.
