Josh Kelly dethroned Bakhram Murtazaliev to win the IBF super welterweight title by majority decision after twelve rounds of movement, timing, and late composure. Kelly used lateral steps, sharp counters, and hand speed early, dropping Murtazaliev in the fourth with a clean left. Murtazaliev answered in the ninth with a heavy left hook knockdown. Pressure stayed constant, but accuracy favored Kelly. He closed strong, making Murtazaliev miss and firing back in the twelfth. Scorecards read 113-113, 115-111, and 114-113. Kelly improves to 19-1-1. Murtazaliev falls to 23-2, outworked despite aggression
Josh Padley (18-1) stopped Jaouad Belmehdi (23-3-3) in round two to claim the vacant European super featherweight title. Padley controlled range early, landed a sharp left hook, scored two knockdowns, and finished with clean combinations. The referee stepped in after Belmehdi failed to respond under sustained pressure.
Elif Nur Turhan (13-0, 8 KOs) retained her IBF lightweight title on a split decision by landing the heavier punches late and surviving a scrappy, uneven ten rounds that exposed both her strengths and limits. Turhan, the reigning champion, did the cleaner work across the second half. Gentzen, the challenger, stayed mobile, grabbed inside, and tried to steal rounds with movement rather than control. Two judges saw it 98-92 and 96-94 for Turhan, while a 97-93 card for Gentzen raised many eyebrows at ringside.
Turhan keeps the IBF belt and her unbeaten title run intact, but the performance invites questions. She struggles with movers early and burns energy winging shots. A mandatory challenger with tighter defense and sharper counters could turn those openings into real trouble next time.
Leo Atang stopped Amine Boucetta in round three after sustained body work broke resistance. Atang controlled from the bell, snapping the jab, doubling right hands, and digging downstairs. Boucetta landed one overhand right in round two, briefly testing balance, but absorbed too much. Atang increased pace, bullied him to the ropes, and forced a knockdown with a clean body shot. Boucetta stayed down. Cards read 20-18 after two. Atang moves to 4-0, 4 KOs. The heavyweight shows power, composure past round one, and unanswered questions once pressure rises. Footwork tightened, defense dipped, future rounds will show how he further develops.
Josh Blenkiron (8-0-1, 0 KOs) edged Robbie Colman (7-1, 1 KO) over ten grinding rounds to claim the vacant Northern Area lightweight title, taking a narrow 96-95 referee’s card in a fight that never settled. Colman forced the early pace, walked Blenkiron down, and had his best stretch in the fourth when he dragged the fight inside. Blenkiron answered with neater combinations and smarter shot selection, keeping his work compact as the rounds tightened. The swing moments kept coming late, both trading under fatigue. A final-round point deduction for Colman’s loose gumshield proved costly in a contest shaped by pressure, toughness, and who stayed composed longest.
Kiaran MacDonald moved smoothly through his professional debut, outboxing Marius Vysniauskas (3-28) over four rounds at bantamweight. MacDonald picked his spots early, went to the body, slipped counters, and dropped Vysniauskas in the fourth with a clean counter right. He controlled distance and clinches without rushing, closing out a clear 40-35 decision after four steady rounds.
Lee Rogers (8-0, 2 KOs) kept his unbeaten record intact with a shutout six-round win over Erick Omar Lopez (20-35-3, 12 KOs) in the super bantamweight division. Rogers set everything behind the jab, used lateral movement to reset angles, and punished Lopez’s forward steps with clean counters. Lopez stayed busy and absorbed shots, but Rogers’ timing ruled every exchange. All three judges scored it 60-54.
In the cruiserweight opener, Bradley Casey outworked Lee Roberts over four rounds, using a consistent jab, short inside shots, and clinch control to take a points win. Casey moves to 4-0 with one knockout, while Roberts falls to 1-4 after scorecards that favored Casey throughout.
