Jarrell Miller blasts Eddie Hearn, calls him a “hypocrite” over Conor Benn positive test

By Charles Brun: Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller ripped into Eddie Hearn today over how he’s handled Conor Benn’s situation with him testing positive for the banned drug clomifene.

Benn had been scheduled to face Chris Eubank Jr in a mega-fight in the UK on DAZN pay-per-view, but the contest was wiped out after the British Boxing Board of Control chose not to sanction it following the revelation of Conor’s positive drug test with VADA.

Interestingly, Hearn briefly had hopes of still putting the Eubank Jr-Benn fight on, saying that Benn wasn’t guilty of any violation because he had tested negative for UKAD’s tests. In other words, Hearn wasn’t recognizing Benn’s positive test by VADA for clomifene.

Miller notes how differently Hearn’s reaction was to his own positive tests compared to his fighter welterweight contender Benn (21-0, 14 KOs), who he says is Eddie’s “golden goose.

Big Baby Miller finds it interesting how Hearn chose not to recognize VADA’s test results when the 26-year-old Benn was popped for testing positive for clomifene.

This boy’s a hypocrite, Eddie Hearn . His new golden goose failing a drugs test,“,” said Jarrell Miller to BIGBABYMILLER about Eddie Hearn and his reaction to Conor Benn’s positive drug test situation.

“He failed doing the VADA protocol, and now Eddie Hearn is saying they’re NOT going to recognize VADA. Basically, [Hearn is] a hypocrite and contradicting himself,” said Miller.

According to Hearn, the Eubank Jr-Benn fight is postponed until further notice. UKAD plans on doing an investigation of Benn’s positive test, and he could potentially receive a ban of up to four years.

Not too many boxing fans believe UKAD will suspend the big money maker Benn for four years, but it’s reasonable to assume that he could receive a six-month suspension, which would put him out of commission until early 2023 at the minimum.

“They’re going to uphold UKAD rules because he didn’t do anything wrong with UKAD,” said Miller. “Of course, with other fighters, he’s thrown under the bus, and especially me, he threw under the bus crazy.

“Eddie Hearn’s really trying to dismiss it like it’s nothing when it’s his fighters,” said Miller.

Benn hasn’t beaten anyone in the top-level bracket of welterweights, but he’s been making money hand over fist beating old washed-up fighters, and the British public doesn’t care that his opposition has been awful.
