By Craig Page: Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder says he would like to fight unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Wilder possesses the power to take Usyk out with a single punch.

However, before a potential clash with Usyk can happen, the former WBC champ Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) still needs to win his comeback fight against Robert Helenius on October 15th.

Wilder is jumping right back into the thick of things by battling the dangerous Helenius,  and wanting to challenge the unbeaten Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) for his three titles.

Usyk says he wants to fight WBC champion Tyson Fury next, but that match-up may not happen due to the Gypsy King’s request for a boatload of money.

“Yeah, me too,” said Wilder about fighting Oleksandr Usyk. “I’ll fight them all,” said Deontay Wilder to ESNEWS.

“The future is bright. The king is back. Ain’t no excitement going through unless I’m here. I’m back by popular demand. I was sitting at home chilling, enjoying my family,” said Deontay.

Wilder says Fury is “too big” for Usyk

“I think Fury would be too big for him,” said Wilder when asked about a potential fight between Tyson Fury and Usyk. “He likes to use his size all the time no matter what and a lot of other things.

“For the most part, I think Usyk is too small. That would be my opinion, and I think Usyk has stamina problems as well. You seen him with Joshua. If Joshua had enough stamina, it probably would have been a different result,” said Wilder.

Deontay knew Joshua would lose to Usyk

“Sometimes you look at both fighters, and the eye test will tell it all,” said Deontay when asked why he thought Usyk would beat Joshua. “The body language is telling a story.

“You could look at Usyk and tell how confident he was and how the tables have turned. With Joshua, you could tell that he wasn’t himself. We all know that Joshua has stamina problems and different things like that.

“We always felt he was too big for certain things he does. The oxygen in his muscles and things like that. Like I’ve always said, they’ve given him everything. When you give a man everything, then when it’s time to bite down, how far can you go?”  said Wilder.
