Dillian Whyte: I’m prepared for Maximum violence against Tyson Fury

By Scott Gilfoid: Dillian Whyte says he’s going to be taking out his frustration on WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury on April 23rd when they meet up in front of a sold-out crowd of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in London.

As Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) quite rightly pointed out today in his press conference, Fury didn’t bring in massive crowds for his three fights against Deontay Wilder.

It was only until Fury faced Dillian that he sold out, and the credit for that must go to ‘The Body Snatcher’ because he was the missing ingredient.

Whyte plans on going in there and dethroning the 33-year-old Fury on April 23rd, ending his two-year reign, sending him back into the contender ranks from whence he game.

Dillian obviously noticed all the mouthing off Fury did during the kickoff press conference when he was absent.

On April 23rd, Whyte is going to shut Fury up once and for good by handing him his first defeat, ripping his WBC title forcefully from him on the night.

For Fury fans, it’s going to be a bitter pill for them to swallow seeing their hero suffer his first loss, but if he plays his cards right, he’ll get a rematch.

Dillian played a massive part in ticket sales

“Even when I was mandatory, I had to go through the legal process to get him to fight me,” said Whyte at Thursday’s press conference.

“I’m under no illusion, I know this is a tough fight. I’m very confident of beating him and shutting the world up.

“This is a business, this isn’t the Tyson Fury show,” said Whyte. “This fight sold out because of me and Tyson Fury. His fights with Deontay Wilder never sold out.

“We’re both in this fight together. I don’t dance to anyone’s tune. We can dance together but it can’t be one-way traffic,” said Whyte.

Whyte to take out his frustration on Fury

“I’m in good shape and ready to go. I got a lot of pain and frustration to take out on Fury,” said Dillian. “We’ve had some good guys in sparring that have kept me on my toes. The young guys press you and give you your work. These guys have been trying to take my head off.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen. The bell might sound and I start going in the first round. I only had seven amateur fights, so I’m still learning,” said Whyte.

“Try and tune in and support. It’s not just the Tyson Fury road shot. It’s the Tyson fury – Dillian Whyte show. I come with maximum violence. I’m preparing for everything possible. I’m prepared and ready for it,” said Whyte.
