Following their altercation at last night’s Oscars, celebrity fight specialists Boxstar have offered the Hollywood stars £10m to settle their differences in the boxing ring at London’s O2 Arena next month.

Boxstar Managing Director, Darren Lamb: “Will Smith vs Chris Rock has the potential to be the biggest fight of the year, if not the century, so what better way to settle their differences than at a packed O2 Arena on April 30. At Boxstar, we specialise in allowing celebrities the opportunity to put on a pair of gloves and squash their beef in the right way, in a boxing ring, and we would be honoured to put on this fight. With £10m on the table and a 50/50 purse split, we hope they take us up on the offer and give the fans what they want.”

Already on the card for the April 30 fight night at the O2 Arena includes Patrice Evra taking on YouTube star Adam Saleh and ‘the heaviest heavyweight fight ever’ with over 50 stone of muscle set to be in the ring, when Martyn Ford takes on The Iranian Hulk.

Boxstar, the brainchild of CEO Stefan Maciejewski and Managing Director Darren Lamb, has seen success with similar events across the country. Now, for the first time, Boxstar will dominate London with its biggest night of celebrity boxing to date.

Will Smith favored to beat Chris Rock in a boxing match

After last night’s altercation, oddsmakers were quick to jump on a potential Will Smith versus Chris Rock fight. They’re backing the Fresh Prince to get the victory in a hypothetical fight with the legendary comedian.

Smith is given -450 odds, or an implied 81.8% chance to win the potential fight. Meanwhile, Rock is given +340 odds, or an implied 22.7% chance to pull off the upset and defeat the Best Actor winner.

To put these odds in perspective, Smith’s chance of winning this fight are nearly twice as good as Olivia Rodrigo’s odds to win Best Album at the Grammy’s, a 44.1% chance. On the flip side, Rock’s odds to win the fight are worse than the odds Donald Trump gets indicted this year, +300.

Quote from OddsChecker spokesman Kyle Newman, “Last night’s altercation was one of the most shocking moments in Oscars history. So, it’s no surprise that oddsmakers have jumped at the chance to highlight what a real fight between the two could look like. That said, the odds are closer than I expected. Smith is about 5 inches and 60 pounds bigger than Rock. One would expect the odds to be heavily in Smith’s favor, yet Rock is given a better than 20% chance to win the fight. So, clearly oddsmakers see something in Chris Rock.”
