By Ken Hissner: Why is it when you see boxers with good records have so many losing record opponents in the start of their career? These opponents are “The Record Builders!” This writer has a list that I call “100 Loss Non-Winning Record Club” with hundreds of names of boxers from around the world. Thanks to www.boxrec.com I get to update them on a daily basis.

There are over 100 boxers with at least 100 losses. The leader who is inactive is from the United Kingdom Kristian “Mr. Reliable” Laight, 12-279-9 with 5 by stoppage last fighting in 2018. Second from the United States was Reggie “Ragin” Strickland, 66-276-17 with 25 by stoppage last fighting in 2013. A dozen of them that are still active today are usually from the United Kingdom. He hasn’t fought since December of 2020 but is scheduled to fight in July against an opponent making his debut. In 2017 he was 4-26-2. That was the last year he won a fight. He only went 0-7 in 2020.

In sixth place is another UK boxer Ibrar “Smokin” Riyaz, 6-180-4 with 4 by stoppages. Others are William “Warty” Warburton, 27-164-10 with just 3 by stoppage.
