By Sean Jones: Fresh off his mental health timeout, Ryan Garcia says he’s “coming back” to “destroy” his opponents. The unbeaten interim WBC lightweight champion Ryan (21-0, 18 KOs) is ready to return to action after a brief rest.

King Ryan says “anxiety tried to do a number on him, but he’s not going to let it get in the way of his career.

Unfortunately, Ryan, 22, has a lot of proving to do after calling out Manny Pacquiao, Devin Haney, and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and not backing up his tough talk. Ryan’s credibility is shot, and he’s going to have to win back the people that have lost faith in him.

The way that Ryan pulled out of his scheduled July 9th fight against Javier Fortuna has many boxing fans believing that he came up with the mental health excuses as a way to slide out a tight spot that he was in.

Right now, Ryan Garcia must get back in the ring to show the fans that he’s stable and can make it into a fight against a tough opponent without changing his mind.

Ryan Garcia “ready to destroy s**t”

“For the people that commented on my last post, I’m coming back, guys, ready to destroys s***,” said Ryan Garcia on social media.

“Anxiety tried to kill me. F*** that, I’m coming back with a vengeance, and I’m going to be entertaining the fans and the people.

“I’ve been out for a bit, and the people that stuck with me and stayed and stayed supportive, I love y’all. Whoever left, stay left.

“I’m charged up. I feel so much Right now; I’m just ready to get back in the ring,” said Ryan Garcia.

Ryan didn’t look so good in his last fight against Luke Campbell last January, getting dropped hard in the second round. If Campbell had shown a sense of urgency after dropped Ryan, he might have knocked him out.

That Campbell bout showed that Ryan is a flat-footed fighter who stands straight up, has no defense, and has a shaky chin.

Bradley tells Ryan Garcia: “Shut up!”

“You got Ryan Garcia and all these guys talking, ‘I would have slept you.’ Man, shut up. You weren’t talking none of that stuff when you weren’t seeing any vulnerability in this man,” said Tim Bradley to SnowqueenLA in reacting to Ryan’s comments about Haney.

“Nobody was calling out Devin Haney before the Linares fight, nobody. Not Teo, not [Ryan] Garcia, nobody wanted to fight Devin Haney.

“If you see weakness, guess what? You think you can do better, get in the ring with him. If it’s you, Garcia, get in the ring with him. Don’t talk it, don’t get Twitter fingers, make the fight happen,” said Bradley

It would help if Ryan Garcia agreed to fight Haney to show the boxing world that he’s not running scared of him. Ryan was supposed to fight Haney after becoming his WBC mandatory with his win over Campbell.
