Joshua Temple Continues His Impressive Start to His Pro Career
By Jamie Cripps: Boxing is a very fascinating sport and it is always interesting to see a former star of the amateur ranks making the move to the professional level in a bid to prove that they have what it takes to become one of the very best in the business. While there have been plenty of former amateurs with high hopes in the pro ranks, who have gone on to fail to truly hit those heady heights, there have also been plenty who have gone on to become among the biggest and the best names in the sport.
Which brings us to the very talented American star Joshua Temple, who has had a very impressive amateur career, winning the likes of the heavyweight title in the USA National Boxing Championships back in 2014. There were many people who had high hopes of Joshua qualifying for the USA Olympic Team for the Rio 2016 Olympics but, following his failure to secure a place in the team, Temple decided to turn pro and has enjoyed a string of impressive wins so far.
As we mentioned, Joshua Temple turned pro back in 2016 and, as you would expect, he has been facing some lower level fighters but, as you might not expect, the record of these fighters is not anywhere near as bad as you might expect. Joshua won his latest fight last night to take his record as a professional boxer to 7-0 (6 KO) with the record of his opponents combined being 12-11-1, which is not bad for someone just beginning their professional boxing journey.
Joshua Temple has the size and the build to already prove a force in the Cruiserweight division and as he grows, develops and progresses there is no doubt that he is only going to get better and stronger. At the age of just 25 years old, Joshua has plenty of time on his side and there is definitely no need to rush it but since it is clear that he has so much boxing talent, it would be a shame for him to take too long about stepping it up in class and taking on some bigger threats.
As you can probably tell, we are big fans of Joshua Temple and we are really looking forward to seeing just how far he can go in his boxing career and just how much of an impression he can make in the Cruiserweight division on the world scene. We believe that Joshua can go all the way to the very top but it is definitely going to be a case of time will tell, we will just have to wait and see what the future holds for this young and impressive boxing talent.
If you do not already know the name Joshua Temple, then you should remember it, as we are tipping him for the top!
