Hyannis, Massachusetts [June 29, 2016] – In another fight announced for the upcoming Boston Boxing Promotions show Saturday August 6th at The Hyannis Youth & Community Center (HYCC), it will be a four-round super welterweight fight between New Bedford’s Briam Granado (1-1-1, 1 KO) and Farmington, Maine’s Zenon Herrera (0-2).

Granado, owner of All Out Fitness in the Whaling City of New Bedford, began his career in 2015 with a first-round TKO over Providence’s Theo Desjardin before losing his second bout to then undefeated prospect Freddy Sanchez of Worcester and capped off the year with a hard fought draw with Matt Doherty, who recently challenged for the New England lightweight title.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the ring”, said Granado, “Cape Cod fight fans are gaining a reputation for being amongst the best around and I can’t wait to fight in front of them while bringing a bunch of my friends and fans from New Bedford and nearby cities that I built over the years with my hard work and dedication. I want to cap off 2016 by getting back on track and head into 2017 full steam looking for big fights. Where there’s a will there’s a way and I hope Zenon Herrera brings his A-game because Briam ‘Bam Bam’ Granado will definitely give the fans what they are looking for – an exciting and explosive fight.”

Herrera will be entering the ring for the third time as a professional and for the first time in his career, the man standing opposite will not be undefeated. He made his pro debut last year losing an entertaining bout to the the then undefeated Tollison Lewis and earlier this year was in a hard fought battle with former amateur standout Casey Kramlich. Both fights took place on his native state of Maine.

Tickets are on sale now at www.CapeCodBoxing.com. A very limited number of ringside seats are available for $60 each, while general admission costs $40.
