By Michael Montero: On an unseasonably chilly May afternoon in Las Vegas, hundreds of fans gathered outside the new T-Mobile Arena to catch the weigh-ins for tomorrow’s Canelo-Khan PPV card. A few rain drops fell onto the crowd but that didn’t scare folks away, as both a significant Mexican and British fan contingency made for a fun, rowdy atmosphere. All-time greats Roberto Duran, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis were among the boxing celebrities on stage.

The festivities were streamed live on RingTV.com and aired live on various networks around the world. Golden Boy promotions put on a spread for the fans, and they showed their appreciation throughout. Below are the official weights:

The winner in regards to “working the crowd” was little known California native Rocco Santomauro (13-0, 1KO), who stepped onto the scale eating a tub of ice cream. The fans absolutely ate it up, no pun intended. Other than that, the weigh ins were all business as usual from the fighters.
