By Gerardo Granados: If the reader enjoys a high tempo bloody fights then I strongly recommend you to search for this one and enjoy, you will not be disappointed to see any running or hugging but just slugging and I can guarantee to you that it was a great display of heart and determination by both hungry lions.

Last night at Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico; David Sanchez W28 (22)-L3-D2 attempted to defend his minor interim WBA light fly belt for the second time but the experienced Luis Concepcion W33 (24)-L4-D0 dominated the fight from start to finish whilst punishing Tornado Sanchez which corner was missing in action during the bout.

Less than a minute into the first round Nica landed a hard right that put Tornado on his back managing to survive the round after a second knock down that was ruled a slip also end up cut on his left eye.

It was a battle of attrition for both fighters, while Concepcion looked strong Sanchez lost strength round after round but he never lost his determination to win and never stopped throwing punches. His game plan was awful and his corner men didn’t even do a good work on his cut and the blood seemed to trouble Sanchez a lot thru the fight.

At the tenth round Sanchez was down again when Concepcion landed a solid right that floored him hard. Tornado was visibly hurt but still punched back and survived the onslaught, but to be honest his corner could as well stopped the bout just after that knock down.

I am not a boxing purist and I really enjoy watching a violent fight but Tornado´s corner seemed to have allowed his pupil to take too many unnecessary punches.

The reader must be the best judge to determine if Tornado´s corner stop the fight late, I think it was late but do the readers agree?
