Dulorme, 24, is taking his stiffest test since his fight against Karim Mayfield earlier this year in March. Dulorme won that fight by a 10 round decision, but it was a really tough fight for him.

Lundy, 30, needs a win over Dulorme to give his career a shot in the arm. Beating Dulorme would definitely give Lundy a boost in the rankings and put him near a position to get a world title shot.

“Me being the underdog, I like that,” Lundy said. “At the end of the day, I like when my back is against the wall. Everyone is counting me out. All I have to do is go in there and shock the world He’s basic. A lot of jabs. He likes to pump his jab and hook off his jab. Nothing special. He can’t fight on the inside and doesn’t have a chin. If he gets caught upstairs he falls apart.”

Dulorme has done a good job of turning his career around since getting stopped in the 7th round by Luis Carlos Abregu in 2012. Dulorme moved down in weight to 140 shortly after that fight, and he’s since won his last five fights. To be sure, Dulorme hasn’t faced anyone that you can call a really good fighter, but he’s still looked good in turning things around with his career.

His loss to Abregu showed pretty clearly that Dulorme didn’t have the chin to fight at 147. Moving down in weight was the logical move for Dulorme. Now we just need to find out if Dulorme has the kind of talent to make something of himself at light welterweight.

“As far as him being a power puncher, I don’t see it. I’m not taking anything away from Mayfield, but Mayfield was right in front of him and he couldn’t stop him,” Lundy said. If he’s such a puncher, why didn’t he knock out Mayfield? If you look at some of his knockouts, those were against lesser opponents. Who were they? They were nobody. Mayfield is a fighter that will be in your face. That’s what punchers want. They don’t want someone who’ll move around.”

This is going to be a step up for Dulorme in terms of facing a guy with excellent hand speed and boxing ability. Lundy has fast hands, and superb boxing skills. If Dulorme isn’t ready for what he’s going to be facing on Saturday night then we could see him get taken out again like he was against Abregu.

“Once I get in that ring, I’ll see what he will give me and that’s what I’ll take,” Lundy said. “Everyone knows ‘Hammerin” Hank can box, and if I want to come get you, I’ll come get you. This is my championship right here. I’m just prepared to do what I have to do.”

Also on Saturday’s card is light middleweight James De La Rosa facing Hugeo Centeno Jr.
