South Florida Female Boxing “Road to Success”

sanPhoto & Text” by Reynaldo Sanchez: The mission of The South Florida’s Female Boxing Team (SFBT) is to serve as a strong, unified, and state-wide voice for female boxers. We are interested in increasing the public awareness about female boxing, whether amateur or professional. We will strive to create competitive excellence, educations, exposure, extensive unified training, proper nutrition, ethics, continues sparring, counseling, networking and overall support. We have been and will always be strong advocates of female boxing.

The Team will consist of female boxers located throughout the stat of Florida. Serving as CEO, is Wanda Countiss-Jiles, “Fightlady” located in Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. General Manager Dalia Duran daughter of Roberto Duran, Events Coordinator, Cha Ross-Estes, Head Trainer 7 times world champion professional fighter Ada Velez, (ACE) 3 time world champion Belinda Laracuente and 6 time world champion Melissa Hernandez.

These “Power House” whose credibility speaks for it-self, will share national and international experiences with them, thereby, offering theme the opportunities to dream, create and realize their full potential while building a platform for their for their boxing careers. The ultimate objective is to motivate the female to become innovative, confident and strong individuals inside and outside of the ropes.

This morning Oct-25th two professional Cuban boxers such Hairon Socarras and Humberto Savigne, hold a meet with all the team in Ft. Lauderdale, to show his strong support to the SFBT and the amateur boxing. They sharing some tips with the female boxer and talking with the CEO Wanda Jiles and General Manager Dalia Duran about the importance of the amateurs in the professional boxing.
