Fury: Chisora is going to get a beating twice as bad for pulling out last time

fury78By Scott Gilfoid: Earlier today it was announced that the WBO heavyweight eliminator bout between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury, which was supposed to have taken place last month, has been rescheduled for November 22nd in London, UK.

Chisora pulled out of the fight last time complaining of a hand injury. Fury still doesn’t buy the excuse, and feels that Chisora got a case of cold feet. At any rate, Fury wants to make Chisora pay for pulling out when he gets him in the ring on 11/22.

Fury says he’s going to give Chisora such a bad beating that he’s going to go into retirement after the defeat. That’s kind of hard to believe that Chisora would walk away from the sport given that he’s been able to make a good living as being the opponent for top guys like former WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, David Haye and Robert Helenius.

With the way that Chisora’s career has been guided, he could hang around for a long time and get a number of title shots, especially with the way he’s been matched since his loss to Haye in 2012.

“Chisora is now going to get a beating twice as bad than the one that he was going to get for pulling out,” Fury said “All Chisora is to me is an obstacle and I’ve got to smash through him to get where I want to be and that’s fighting for the world title. He’s messed me around and now I’m going to make him pay. I’m happy for the fans who will get to see me crush Chisora for second and final time and send him into retirement.”

At this point I’d be happy just to see the two make it to the ring without suffering an injury. Fury has had three fight’s postponed are canceled in the past year, and he also pulled out of one himself last month when he chose not to face the dangerous and in shape Alexander Ustinov due to his uncle having a health problem.

Fury didn’t win many fans with that move, as a lot of the fans felt that Fury pulled out after seeing in how good a shape Ustinov was in. Ustinov had always looked kind of flabby as a pro until recently. Taking the weight off likely would have put Ustinov in a position where he would have beaten Fury if he hadn’t pulled out of the fight the way he did.
