floyd103By Chris Williams: With an estimated net worth of $216 million and with an additional $100 million+ to be added to that total in his next three fights, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is literally living the life of a king on earth and he knows it full well. With beautiful women surrounding him daily and more trying to get his attention, Mayeather is living a life that most boxing fans can’t even imagine in their minds of having.

With his next fight in September, Mayweather will have a net worth of a quarter of a billion dollars. And this is from a fighter who missed 2 years of his boxing career from 2007 to 2009, and who could have had much more money if he had fought 3 times a year like many fighters do.

Mayweather said “Yachts, private jets, foreign cars, mansions, unlimited shopping sprees, and I am just getting started! I spoke to God last night and I asked: ‘Is there a problem with how this lavish KING is living down here on earth?” and God said: ‘NO, it was already predestined.”

With the kind of money that Mayweather has, he really no longer needs to fight someone like Manny Pacquiao. There’s no real additional gain in fighting the Filipino star because Mayweather can make the same kind of money fighting other opponents without having to deal with the headaches of trying to negotiate a fight with someone that he’s been unable to land a fight with in the past despite trying on two separate occasions.

At this point in time it’s all gravy for Mayweather. He’s made his money, he’s created a lasting legacy, and he’s just looking to put the icing on the cake of his career. The last fights of Mayweather’s career will be against guys that he feels bring the most to the table without asking for king’s ransom to take the fight. Mayweather will pick whoever he feels is a good option for him, be it Marcos Maidana, Danny Garcia or even Adrien Broner. Fighters that come across as too needy and beg for the fight, won’t likely get the fight with Mayweather. He’s put off by fighters who beg for a fight and hound him constantly.
