groves21323By Bradley Swaine: There is no doubt that  George Groves Is a talent But is he really that good. If you look at the facts that George Groves (16-0 12 KO’s) at 24 years of age is  one of the best contenders in the super middleweight division around and he’s proven that by beating an aged but very tough opponent in Glen Johnson but can he really mix it at top level?

Groves is being lined up for at a title shot later this year most likely against the winner of the Arthur Abraham vs. Robert Stieglitz 2 rematch in a fight I believe Groves is very capable of winning. He has great ability and a great team around him at the Hayemaker gym, Adam Booth brings that slick style we see with both groves and haye and this is believe is key for groves to win the title.

Abraham walks forward and throws big punches but as we saw with the Andre Dirrell fight he can  be out-boxed if anything I believe Groves is better than American Andre Dirrell, and I believe he could stop Abraham, providing he beats Stieglitz.

If Groves really is next big thing we can look forward to some epic encounters in the future with the best but what we really want to see is those huge fights in Britain with IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch, and a rematch with arch rival James Degale. I think it’s Fair to say St George Groves could be the future of British boxing.
