fury3342By Scott Gilfoid: Not satisfied after having called out the UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velazquez and being promptly ignored, unbeaten heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (20-0, 14 KO’s) is now calling out British MMA fighter Michael Bisping to try and get a fight with him.

Fury said on his twitter “I think Michael Bisping is a first class p****. Him and Velazquez at the same time couldn’t beat me! My friend KO’d Bisping, ask him. Bisping, you are a wanker who is s*** at fighting, ask anyone. Remember when you got chinned by blond John?”

This “Blond John” person must have been in sparring session or something because Bisping has never fought anyone named John in any of his MMA fights during his career.

I wonder if Bisping would be game to face Fury in an MMA fight? I’d bet that Fury wouldn’t even last a round against this guy. Fury hasn’t gotten much of a reaction from Velazquez, so maybe Bisping might agree to face him in the cage. Fury can’t be calling out an MMA fighter and expecting him to compete in a boxing match, because those guys aren’t boxers.

Fury might as well be calling out a tennis player and asking him to step inside the ring. There’s nothing courageous about asking an MMA fighter to fight in a boxing match, because they don’t have much in the way of skills to be fighting actual bouts where they’re expected to take shots for 10 to 12 rounds in the standing position.

Fury said to Velazquez that he’d fighting inside the ring or in the cage, so I’m assuming that same offer is open to Bisping, right? I think this would be a good move for Bisping’s career because he can some attention for himself while beating up on Fury in the octagon. Fury doesn’t have MMA skills, so I wouldn’t expect him to make it past the 1st minute against Bisping or any MMA fighter with halfway decent skills.
