broner542Adrien Broner, clearly on the rise as the super, all dancing, all singing knock out star of the new era of boxing. Like him or loathe him no one can deny he has an electrical A-list star quality presence that can transcend “the problem” and the sport of boxing to new levels.

“The problem” that now faces Adrien Broner is who is Next? He has clearly had is fill of enough starters and appetizers, now let us have a crowd pleasing, box office smashing, main course! A succulent feast, seasoned and tenderized, marinated, slowly cooked with the aid of 24/7 salivating our anticipation of a big fight Night.

There is a clear natural adversary in pocket rocket Gamboa, But why not first punish the old era for not giving us the fight we all as fans cried for. Gamboa takes on Pacquiao and Broner takes on Mayweather and down the line in 2014 we watch a super super fight between “The problem” and Gamboa.

In reality these fight are unlikely to happen, if they do, will be delayed by at least 36 months or be a year further down the line for commercial reasons.

What the Problem needs next in 2013 now that he is a top fighter, are some A-Listers. Marquez, Garcia, Bradley, Malignaggi, Berto, Ortiz should all be on the list. But top on the List should be Amir Khan, he has that star quality and fast hands, and does the numbers, with his good looks and super fact hands, but with that glass Jaw its got to be compelling viewing or can Virgil Hunter work what would have to be called a miracle.

There are some super match ups that can be made for 2013, Mayweather v Pacquiao or Saul Alvarez can be done for May, Marquez v Just about any top fighter would be a must view, Kell Brook v Khan, come on boxing promoters give us what we want.

Adrien Broner is indeed correctly named. The real Problem is who does he fight next?
