Kell Brook makes a smart move in passing up the chance to fight Timothy Bradley

Kell Brook Timothy Bradley Brook vs. Saldivia Brook-SaldiviaBy Marcus Stewart: Kell Brook admitted that he was offered the chance to fight WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley. He decided to turn down the offer and continue preparing for his fight against Hector Saldivia. This I believe is a very smart move.

Before he wins the IBF welterweight strap off of either Devon Alexander or Randall Bailey he can gain more valuable experience from fighting Hector Saldivia. Then once he is world champion the fight with Timothy Bradley becomes even bigger and will likely sell more tickets as it’s between two world champions, thereby making it a unification bout despite the fact that Timothy Bradley doesn’t deserve to be the WBO welterweight champion after his extremely controversial win over Manny Pacquiao.

It’s a fight that will definitely happen in the future but not right now. It’s smart for Brook to take his time before a big money fight against Timothy Bradley which he should win convincingly. He’s much faster much stronger and more technically gifted than Bradley and I can see this fight ending early for the very overrated American which is Timothy Bradley. Many see this as a tough fight to call, but believe me it isn’t. Kell Brook will likely whoop Timothy Bradley and expose him, showing to the public who the true welterweight champion of the world is. Kell Brook, the talented young fighter from Sheffield that has immense punching power and fantastic reflexes. Timothy Bradley, the overrated fighter from California who has no punching power and any effective technical ability. The result of this fight is a no brainer.
