Price said to BoxNation “I feel like I’ll be fitter and fresher, and I want to set a pace which Audley isn’t gonna like. Audley likes to fight at his own pace. I don’t know whether he’s had anyone in front of him who sets the pace like me. And I’m not talking about throwing a million punches.”

For a normal fighter I’d say that Price has got the right approach to the Harrison fight. However, given that Price’s chin is fragile like fine china, I think he’ll be giving Harrison the only chance he has in winning the fight by Price going right at him immediately looking to slug it out. If Harrison feels he’s got nothing to lose he’s going to forget about being scared and unleash some of his huge left hands.

I think Harrison is the better athlete compared to the stiff as a board Price, so all it will take is one good left hand shot from Harrison to send Price down on the canvas or so badly hurt that he’ll be easy pickings for Harrison to finish off with a few big lefts to the head.

Price’s promoter Frank Maloney is taking the slow approach to Price’s career, putting him in with weak opposition time and time again despite the fact that he’s almost 30-years-old. At this pace, we may not see Price fight for a world title until he’s 35. I guess the good thing about that is the Klitschko brothers will be long gone by then so that Price won’t have to worry about fighting them. The negative is that talents like Deontay Wilder and Seth Mitchell will be in their primes and Price may have lost his chance at winning a world title.
