Mayweather looking well muscled after jail stay

By Chris Williams: Some people get out of jail emaciated or flabby from having sat around in a cell for months without the opportunity to exercise enough to stay in shape. You can’t say that about unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr., because upon being released from the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada after two months of jail time, Mayweather showed a well muscled physique that suggests that he’d spent a lot of time doing pushups in his small cell.

Mayweather had this to say on his twitter page today “Thanks for all the support and God bless to everyone who wrote me.”

It’s hard to believe but Mayweather looks even more muscle now than he did before he went to jail on June 1st. His arms, chest and shoulders look like he’s packed on muscle. The only question is whether that added muscle will help him or hurt him in his next fight at the end of the year or early 2012.

Mayweather has got a lot of fighters that would love to get in the ring with him in his next fight, but the one fighter that he’s really interested in facing – Manny Pacquiao – won’t be facing him because his promoter Bob Arum has other ideas for Pacquiao. Don’t hold count on Arum matching Pacquiao against Mayweather in early 2013 either, because I imagine some other fight will come up for the Filipino that will take him in a different direction that’s a lot safer for him.

The options for Mayweather’s next fight are as follows: Tim Bradley, Miguel Cotto or Saul Alvarez.
