Deas said on his twitter “Bronze Bomber [Wilder] will fight September 8th in Cali. Just got word! Week and a half notice? That’s a week more notice than we needed!”

Tell it, Mr. Deas. Wilder is such an amazing talent that he doesn’t need more than a few days to get ready to fight anyone because his huge right hand, great jab and left hook is more than enough to make up for whatever preparation that he’s not getting for whoever his opponent will be.

Wilder said “Didn’t know. We just got call today to fight. I’m in demand on Fox Bombsquad. We will know in 24 hours [who he will be facing next].”

Whoever Wilder faces, I feel sorry for them because he’s going to be knocking them out on Fox. I’d like to see a nice step up opponent but you can’t expect much with him being put in there with only a week and half notice.

Wilder is coming off of a sensational 1st round knockout win over the capable Kertson Manswell earlier this month. Wilder knocked Manswell down three times in getting the 1st round knockout.

Wilder’s right hand is the best in boxing and he’s got true one punch power in that hand. His left hand is getting better day by day, and he should have that one almost as powerful as his right hand in no time.

Wilder needs a contender to face him so that he can finally get ranked in the top 15, but it’s not been easy because no one wants to fight him due to his huge punching power. No one wants to become another one of Wilder’s statistics. Who can blame them. With Wilder’s power it’s difficult to make it past the 1st round, and beating him is out of the question.
