Deontay Wilder looks unstoppable after blowing through Manswell

Image: Deontay Wilder looks unstoppable after blowing through ManswellBy Scott Gilfoid: Another opponent lined up and another opponent knocked down by unbeaten heavyweight talent Deontay Wilder (24-0, 24 KO’s) tonight with a 1st round knockout win over Kertson Manswell (22-6, 17 KO’s) at the Exposition Hall, in Mobile, Alabama. The 6’7″ Wilder had Manswell on the canvas three separate times before the brutal slaughter was finally stopped.

What I especially liked in Wilder’s incredible performance tonight was his jab and his excellent left hook he was using to set up his right hand power shots. In the past, the 6’7″ Wilder has been totally reliant on his right hand power to do all his work for him, but not tonight. It was as if Wilder was unveiling a new toy for his arsenal and man what a toy that was. His left hook is now a legitimate weapon for him and I can’t see anyone getting in the way of Wilder’s forward path to a title shot. He’s just too incredible right now and there’s no one there out that can compete with him.

I’d love to see what Wilder would do to the top British heavyweights – David Haye, Dereck Chisora, Tyson Fury and David Price. I could see Wilder knocking them all out without any problems. Those guys have all been shown to have shaky chins in the past and if you them in with Wilder it would be too easy for him.
