Image: Bradley: I want to fight Mayweather after he destroys PacquiaoBy Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley is waiting to get a fight against WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. after he demolishes Manny Pacquiao early next year and hands him yet another loss.

Bradley said to RingTV “Once Floyd flattens Manny Pacquiao, which is going to happen if they ever fight, then me and Floyd can get it on. I mean, that’s [beating Pacquiao] easy work for Floyd.”

Bradley is still an option for Pacquiao’s next fight on November 10th, so he may get another crack at Pacquiao before Mayweather ever does. In that case, Bradley will have a great chance of putting the aging Filipino out of his misery long before Mayweather gets a stab at ending the Pacquiao gravy train. Bradley already beat Pacquiao last June, and he figures that with two good feet working for him, he’ll prove that his win over Pacquiao last time was no fluke thing.

I do agree with Bradley about Mayweather flattening Pacquiao. If the fight is made, Mayweather will beat Pacquiao like an old drum. The question is whether Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, will even allow him to fight Mayweahter. I don’t think Arum will let Pacquiao take the fight because a loss to Mayweather could get in the way of Pacquiao’s money making potential. Arum can always have Pacquiao work his way around some of his other Top Rank stable fighters like Brandon Rios, Mike Jones and have him fight some new signees. It could go on endlessly until Mayweather is out of the game and/or boxing fans lose interest in seeing Pacquiao and Mayweather fight. To tell you the truth, I’ve pretty much lost interest.
