Kayode, 29, said to RingTV “My prediction is that I think I’m going to knock him out in the 5th or the 6th round.”

Kayode isn’t happy that Tarver has criticized him when he’s fought on Shobox in the past, and he wants to prove himself by beating him tomorrow night in Carson.

This is going to be a real test for Kayode because he’s not faced anyone nearly as good as Tarver, and most of the guys he’s faced him stood there in front of him, making it easy for him. Kayode moves a lot like a weight lifer. He’s heavily muscled and seems a little slow because of all the muscle he’s carrying around.

He’s more of a powerful arm puncher rather than a traditional slugger. It’s kind of doubtful seeing him having much success against Tarver because he seems so limited. It would be nice if Kayode had at least fought a few better quality fighters to get to this point because it would have helped him get ready or at the very least it would have weeded him out.

This fight could turn out to be a big mismatch because Tarver is good enough to beat most of the heavyweights in the next division, and facing a musclebound cruiserweight like Kayode likely won’t be any problem for Tarver.

The undercard of this fight is loaded with excellent fights. Peter Quillin faces 40-year-old Winky Wright, Austin Trout defends his WBA 154 lb title against Devlin Rodriguez, Sakio Bika battles super middleweight contender Dyah Davis.
