Bute said to oninesports.ro “From my point of view I’m gonna lay everything down, I’ll give everything for this rematch. Don’t know if it will be Montreal or Bucharest the contract says we must fight in Montreal, Canada. But there is a possibility that it could be Bucharest. For me Bucharest or Montreal means Home.”

If Bute is able to get the fight in Romanian, he could bring in as many as 50,000 fans to see his fight. Compared to the 9000 mostly British fans that packed the Nottingham Arena last Saturday night, this is a huge a number in comparison.

Bute doesn’t want to walk away from the rematch he says because he’s got something to prove. The fact that Bute is willing to give everything he’s got to this rematch tells you a lot about who he is. A lot of fighters would choose not to take the rematch because of how risky it would be. Bute didn’t just get beaten by Froch last Saturday night, he got totally dominated and pounded in front of the 9000 fans that saw the fight in Nottingham.

Bute is going to be risking a lot for his career, because if he gets blasted out for a second time, the loss will likely hurt his career. Getting dominated once is one thing but to get destroyed a second time, that would be tough on Bute. I’m sure he would still keep fighting well against the type of opponents he had been facing before he faced Froch, but he wouldn’t be seen in the same light after a second defeat.
