Bradley told RingTV “The Marquez fight really showed me a lot. Marquez has the fine ability to frustrate and to counter punch. Marquez was definitely able to lay back and to counter punch and stuff like that. He was able to isolate Pacquiao at times with solid counter punching and he was able to make Manny think in there.”

Bradley isn’t going to necessarily copy Marquez’s game plan because he’s got his own strategy to use to beat the 33-year-old Pacquiao, but it’s good to be implement some of the things that Marquez used to make Pacquiao look bad. Much of the boxing world had Marquez beating Pacquiao, but the three judges scored it for Pacquiao and he seems to be okay with a lot of fans thinking he lost. Pacquiao isn’t pushing his promoter Bob Arum to get him back in the ring with Marquez to try and prove that he deserved the controversial win.

Bradley says he’s going to use his own plan to beat Pacquiao and it’s anyone’s guess what that plan will be. In looking at Bradley’s fights, he typically pressures his opponents and collapses in on them to work them over in close. Pacquiao isn’t all that good on the inside and he could be out of his element here, especially if Bradley is able to wear him down. Pacquiao’s legs could make this a much easier fight for Bradley if Pacquiao starts experiencing the leg cramps that has been plaguing him in his last three fights. A set of leg cramps against Bradley could be all that Bradley needs to beat Pacquiao and send him home to the Philippines in defeat.
