Braehmer had his WBO title stripped from his last year due to his cancelling of a series of bouts. However, he’s ready to get back in action and win back his WBO belt.

Also on the card is 2008 Russian Olympic heavyweight gold medalist Rakhim Chakhkiev (11-0, 9 KO’s) fighting a 10 round bout against an opponent to be decided later. Chakhkiev, 28, has looked overpowering since turning pro in 2009. He’s knocked out his last three opponents with his last win coming against the usually tough Michael Simms last September.

In other bouts on the card, former WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (27-2-1, 17 KO’s) fights for the first time since losing to Alexander Povetkin last August in an attempt to capture the vacant WBA heavyweight title.

Former WBA World cruiserweight champion Firat Arslan (31-5-1, 20 KO’s) sees action as well. Arslan, 41, has won his last two fights since losing by an 11th round stoppage against Steve Herelius last year in July.

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (29-0, 24 KO’s) fights on the card against TBA. Boytsov, 25, looked impressive in stopping Matthew Greer in the 6th round last September. Boytsov was coming off of hand surgery and he looked good showing his old power.

Former WBC/WBO/WIBF Women’s International Boxing Federation featherweight champion Ina Menzer (27-1, 10 KO’s) sees action on the card. Menzer, 31, lost her titles last year in July 2010 against Jeannie Garside in as 10 round decision loss. Since then, Menzer rebounded from the loss to defesat Ela Nunez by an eight round unanimous decision last September.
