Roger Mayweather: Pacquiao is going to get his a** whipped after he takes that test
By Chris Williams: Roger Mayweather, the trainer and uncle of unbeaten WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., sees Floyd getting back in the ring in February in February next year. Roger wants Mayweather Jr. to face Pacquiao at that time, but only if Pacquiao takes the test for performance enhancing drugs [PEDS].
Roger said to eastsideboxing.com’s On the Ropes Boxing Radio program “He [Pacquiao] ain’t going to be able to do sh** with my nephew [Mayweather Jr], period. Especially when they make him take that test, when they make him take that test he’s going to get his a** whopped. That’s it. It’s going to be a mismatch anyway.”
I agree with Roger completely, only I don’t think having Pacquiao tested is really necessary. Pacquiao is going to get whipped by Mayweather Jr. no matter what. Mayweather Jr. is just too good and we saw how badly Pacquiao struggled in winning a controversial 12 round decision against Juan Manuel Marquez recently. This was a guy that Mayweather Jr. easily beat two years ago, and Pacquiao is still going life and death with Marquez after all this time. That tells you that Pacquiao will be out of his class when he eventually fights Mayweather Jr. This is why the testing is really irreverent. Pacquiao has been beating bigger fighters in the past three years, but those have been mostly Top Rank guys that have been flawed or coming off of bad beatings. Mayweather would likely humiliate the guys that Pacquiao beat without even breaking a sweat.
