Does Manny Pacquiao deserve a rematch against Juan Manuel Marquez?

By Gerardo Granados: For boxing fans around the globe it was evident Pacman lost the fight but the official score cards made official an atrocious robbery. For the millions boxing fans who witnessed how Juan Manuel Marquez outclassed, out boxed and out smart Manny Pacquiao, those same fans that saw trainer Freddie Roach clueless about how to advice his fighter in order to decipher the boxing style of Marquez (maybe if Roach was more experimented the fight judges would not have been highly criticized now) may be skeptical to see the rematch.

I will admit that the few beers that I drank watching the fight might had affected my appreciation, although after seen the fight once more time I corrected my personal score card to 116 – 112 in favor to the real WBO welterweight champion Juan Manuel “Dynamite” Marquez.

Pacman´s fans will never acknowledge Manny lost the fight unless Pacquiao does it first.

Does Juan Manuel Marquez need to prove he defeated Pacquiao? If you make a poll you will see that the general opinion gives the victory to Marquez. This time Pacman did not floored Marquez so what is the excuse to award the victory to him?
For Marquez the third rematch would allow him to earn a great purse and that might be the only valid reason for Juan Manuel to take on Pacquiao for a fourth time.

Manny was considered to be the best pound for pound for some boxing fans, and his loyal fans believe he is the greatest of all times, will they considered Marquez to be better than him?

I believe Manny Pacman Pacquiao deserves the rematch only if first he admits he was defeated, otherwise there will be suspicion of another controversial decision if the fourth fight is close. Boxing fans deserve to watch a great fight between two lion kings, but we the boxing fans don’t deserve to be fooled with a heinous judge decision once more time. Money rules professional boxing but still there is pride and honor in the ring warriors to accept a defeat or to recognize a gift from the fight judges, to not do so speaks really low of a boxer.

Marquez has the blue print to defeat Pacquiao, and also is trained by the old wolf trainer Ignacio Beristain. What can Pacman do to improve in just a few months, to ask for a must catch weight of 147 pounds?
