Image: Khan says he's back training with PacquiaoBy Scott Gilfoid: It seems that Amir Khan’s worries about a rift between him and his buddy Manny Pacquiao have been placated, as Khan is now saying they’re back training together. Yesterday, Khan said that he felt tension in the Pacquiao camp and that he wasn’t being allowed to spar with Pacquiao for one reason or another.

Today, Khan said this on his twitter site: “Me and Manny Pacquiao will not fight, we are friends and don’t believe rumors. We have been training today and everything is fine.”

Don’t believe rumors? What the heck is Khan talking about? He’s the one that said he wasn’t being allowed to train with Pacquiao. Where’s the rumor? If Khan would stop flapping his gums all the time for this and that, maybe things would run smoother. I swear this guy bellyaches 24/7, and it must he hellish to have to calm him.

Khan will still fight Pacquiao, because there’s really no one else for Pacquiao to fight. With no else to fight, Pacquiao’s management will nudge him into devouring Khan like a shark eating a goldfish. I’m sure Pacquiao won’t want to, but with the big cash that he can for relatively easy work, he’ll probably agree to it.

There’s no worry in a fight with Khan because one big shot on his glass chin and it’s over with. At best, I think Pacquiao may have to take a few slaps on the face from Khan in the opening round but once he corners Khan, he’ll land on that chin and Khan will be staggering around like he was against Marcos Maidana. But this time there won’t be a referee to step in and save Khan by pulling Pacquiao off of him. Believe me, Pacquiao will have a clear runway to finish off Khan without a referee getting in the way of the action.
