Guerrero stated “he [Khan] didn’t want to fight Zab Judah, and Zab Judah was old. He called me out and I picked the challenge but he decided to go that same way with Zab Judah.”

Also fellow Brit Enzo Macarinelli has warned Amir Khan about a future bout with P4P king Floyd Mayweather. Enzo told talksport ““If he gets the opportunity to fight the pound-for-pound number one on the planet he has nothing to lose. The pay day is going to be phenomenal so I wouldn’t say not to take it. I would just say to be realistic about beating him.”

Super middleweight world champion Carl Froch has been told by his trainer Rob McCracken that his upcoming bout with world number one Andre Ward will define whether he will be recognized as a legend in the future.

Newly crowned British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Tyson Fury could be facing Canadian champion Neven Pajkic in his next bout after negotiations fell through with Martin Rogan.

A fight between Kell Brook and Polish welterweight Rafal Jackiewicz has been finalised. This fight could propel Brook to a major world title shot if he gets past the once defeated ex Pole. Jackiewicz is an ex European champion and is ranked number 5 by the International Boxing Federation (IBF).

Darren Barker has vacated his European title to fight middleweight king Sergio Martinez. This paves the way for a bout between Sebastian Sylvester and undefeated Pole Gregorz Proska.

Matthew Hatton’s next opponent Andrei Abremenka has vowed to take revenge on Matthew as he defeated his older brother Alexandr back in 2006.
