Look for Johnson to punch a hole through Froch’s false facade of confidence

At Wednesday’s press conference, Froch went one step farther about the defeat, saying with tinge of bitterness “80 percent of the people don’t acknowledge it was a loss.”

Who precisely are these 80% of the people I’d like to know. I see this as a mere smokescreen by Froch to cover up for his unhappiness that he got beat. I guess he’s hoping if he mentions it enough it may make him feel better about the fight. I don’t believe that Froch is really confident. I see it as false front and the more he talks the more I see him as worried. Froch needs to be worried because Glen Johnson (51-14-2, 35 KO’s) is going to punch big hole in Froch’s fake looking facade of confidence this Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Can you imagine how Froch will feel getting beaten by a 42-year-old fighter with 14 losses on his record? That’s going to be crushing. I don’t expect Froch to acknowledge a defeat by Johnson, and I see a repeat of the Kessler fight with Froch saying he should have won and then coming up with some mysterious percentage of fans that think that he should have won. I got news for Froch, there are a lot of people that think he lost to Andre Dirrell too. If you look at it, Froch’s record in the Super Six tourney could/should in my view be 1-2. Talk about a crummy record.

And before the Super Six tourney started, Froch was on the verge of losing to Jermain Taylor when Froch was able to stop Taylor with 14 seconds left in the fight. Can you imagine if Froch had lost that fight and if the two judges who handed Froch the decision in his hometown of Nottingham against Dirrell had scored it for Dirrell? Froch would be sporting a record of 1-3 in last four bouts. I don’t know about you but that’s terrible. That’s dominating, is it? To me that looks like someone that is floundering. I don’t buy Froch’s cocky attitude one bit. I see it as a a front to fool people. I think Johnson is going to stand up to Froch and show what Dirrell, Kessler and Taylor already showed about Froch. He’s vulnerable.
