Judah, only 33, is considered the underdog in this fight despite being the much more experienced fighter against top tier opposition.

Speaking with the On the Ropes Boxing Radio program at eastsideboxing.com, Judah said this: “I think that Pernell Whitaker with being the great fighter that he was, he knows how to put together great strategies. The strategy that Pernell Whitaker put together for Amir Khan is unbelievable.”

In looking at how Whitaker used to fight and taking in how Judah fought his last fight in stopping Kaizer Mabuza by a 7th round TKO last March, you got to figure that Judah will be looking to make Khan miss a lot with his punches and looking to counter him with big power shots to the chin. Judah was very conservative with his offense in the Mabuza fight and that might be the way he’ll fight Khan. It will be tough to get shots in one Khan because his best defense is his offense. He likes to throw a lot of fast combinations to deter his opponents from attacking him. However, if you’re smart and use a jab to get Khan off balance first, like Breidis Prescott did, you can follow it up with a left hook to stun Khan. This is something that Judah needs to do. However, he doesn’t have a very good jab, so it’s going to be a harder.
