Haye had a sudden urge to violently attack the 6’6″ 247 pound Klitschko when he was gleefully clowning Haye during the conference while Haye sat there with an uneasy embarrassed look on his face. It seems that Haye is good at dishing out the insults but not quite so good at accepting them in return.

In an article at espn.co.uk, Haye said “There was a really annoying smirk on his [Wladimir] face and I wanted to wipe it off.” It’s a good thing that Haye didn’t attack Wladimir because he might have been hurt even before their upcoming July 2nd fight. It’s to wait at least until the fight, don’t you think?

Apparently, Haye got a control over his emotions when Wladimir and him were directed to face off with one another. Instead of attacking Wladimir, Haye did zero other than look uncomfortable. After all these years of talking about Wladimir in the media about how he wanted to fight him and how he would beat him, Haye seemed to shrink in front of the big Ukrainian. For boxing fans having been used to seeing Haye control a press conference with his confidence and sound bites, it was very odd to see Haye looking timid. Could it be that Haye was speechless in front of a hero of his? You know how some people freeze when around a person they admire. Could that be the situation with Haye?
