Khan and his management make big mistake in letting Ariza go

By Saqib Khan: Let’s go back to 14 august 2008 when Amir khan got blasted in 54 seconds by the KO artist briedis Prescott, everybody really knows the real problem for khan loss was Team khan hunger to get a “cheap” trainer. They sacked Oliver Harrison. Okay, no problem, but they hired Jorge Rubio. The reason why I’m writing this is because team Khan are at it again. they just announced yesterday Amir Khan would part ways with strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza over pay. Have you ever heard the saying “Don’t fix something that’s not broken” this applies to Amir Khan.

The way I look at it is khan has won 6 straight fights under trainer Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza, so why change? Khan is not financially struggling as he just spent thousands on watches. Just pay Ariza. If he really wants to beat the likes of Timothy Bradley, Andre Berto and Floyd Mayweather Jr., you need a great trainer and a great strength and conditioning coach.

Khan should realize the reason why he beat Marcos Maidana. It wasn’t Roache’s tactics in round ten, but Ariza’s leg training and core training which paid off in round ten. Khan has made massive improvements under Roach but his physique was improved by Ariza. His calf muscles looked bigger, legs were thicker and neck muscles increased, and his upper body was ripped not muscular.

I’m a big khan fan but I think team Khan are looking at money over success again. Let’s just wish history does not repeat it’s self. Hope team Khan read this.
