It may not be an easy job to steal the kings’ crown, but many warriors are willing to sacrifice and try it, for: money, respect and attention. Those who have tried, have failed and disappeared out of the kings’ empire. Few warriors have been close and are willing to make a new game plan to succeed.

Eight-division King Manny Pacquiao (53-2-1, 38 knockouts), will likely fight on May 7th against one of these three distinct warriors with different weapons: Shane Mosley, Andre Berto or Juan Manuel Marquez. Some of these warriors may have the power of an atomic bomb, speed of a Cheetah or heart of a lion. But only one will get a chance to make history or be part of history. Three distinct warriors, with different minds and game plans, are waiting for an answer on who will get a chance to steal the Kings crown. The question is, who will it be?

The majority of the Boxing world believes that Shane Mosley will be the lucky warrior to get a chance to steal Manny Pacquiao’s crown on May 7th. But does he have a chance?

Shane Mosley is a soldier that has lost few abilities from past battles and bloody wars. He still has the strength of a tiger, but has lost his speed and stamina. However, Sugar Shane is still a popular warrior and a well known respected fighter in the sport. But is he really that hungry for the crown? Or is he just hungry for the money?

If Shane Mosley happens to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 7th, it will still be an interesting fight. But only the first 3 rounds, Mosley will start strong and might land one or two powerful hooks. However, he might end up losing his speed and stamina. Whenever a warrior loses his stamina, he will likely lose his legs and when you lose your legs, you lose your power. Therefore Mosley explosive hooks won’t have as much power in the later rounds and won’t be able to hurt the Filipino champ. Sugar Shane offers his chin way too much when delivering punches against any warrior. Although he has a solid chin, Manny might be able to score one or two knockdowns later in the fight. Mosley relies on his offense to have a decent defense, that won’t help him if he fights Manny Pacquiao. A fighter that throws smart-fast combinations from different angles and has the speed to get out of trouble. One weapon that might help Mosley is the jab. He has a quick jab and creates distance to land that tremendous right hook that has gotten many fighters in trouble. Although the jab may help Mosley steal Pacquiao’s crown, that won’t be enough. He will need more weapons and techniques to defeat the king.

King Manny Pacquiao’s speed, head movement, and footwork will be too much for Sugar Shane. Trying to avoid Pacquiao’s combinations and massive bullets is like trying to dodge rain drops in a stormy night. The Filipino superstar knows how to control his speed and rhythm. He’s not just a great warrior, but has a great general in his corner as well. Pacquiao is a warrior from another dimension, a dimension beyond the average warrior’s eye. He’s a warrior that starts the fight with energy, but keeps gaining more and more as his confidence takes over the fight. He doesn’t get tired, Pacquiao knows how to keep that crown and he’s not planning on letting any warrior come near it.

If Mosley ends up stepping in the ring against Pacquiao, he will need to be in the best shape ever and not rush things. If he happens to be out of gas early in the fight, Manny Pacquiao could possibly win by TKO.

It may seem that eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao is the Cactus that every eagle wants, or has the crown that every warrior is willing to steal. But only one will get a chance to do the job, while the other two warriors remain in line waiting for their chance, as their hunger keeps growing and growing. The world doesn’t know who the chosen one is yet; just don’t be surprised if it’s Sugar Shane Mosley. A warrior who has fought many classic battles and great warriors during his career. A warrior who everyone doubts and will try to prove the world wrong, that he deserves that crown and will wear it proudly one day.
