It’s nice to know that Wladimir is interested in facing Haye, but it doesn’t really have much meaning because the hold up for a fight has been Haye in the past year.

Wladimir has always been ready and willing to fight Haye, but he hasn’t been able to get the British fighter into the ring for some reason. The two Klitschkos have gone back and forth in deciding who should face Haye first. At one time it was Wladimir, then Vitali and now it’s Wladimir. It doesn’t much which Klitschko is interested in facing Haye if he’s not willing to fight either of them.

Supposedly, Haye is ready to fight the klitschko – or at least one of them – because his back is against the wall now that he plans on retiring in October next year when Haye turns 31. However, some people think Haye isn’t serious about retiring and is just talking about retirement to get interest up for him.

However, it would be great if Haye finally did decide to fight one of them, because this is really the only fight in the heavyweight division worth watching right now. There’s a little bit of interest in seeing one of the Klitschkos face top heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek, but not nearly as much as for the Haye-Klitschko fight. Haye has gotten a lot of attention facing older heavyweights that he’s been able to blast out without any problems.
