Image: Margarito says Pacquiao will understand “What he had gotten into” on November 13thBy Dave Lahr: Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KO’s) is out for blood on November 13th, and he wants to take Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KO’s) apart piece by piece and leave what’s left of him strewn across the canvas at the Cowboys Stadium for boxing fans to gawk at.

This is going to be a sad day for Pacquiao fans and his legendary trainer Freddie Roach. I see a lot of tears Pacquiao in this fight, because it’s going to be a blood bath.

As if to give an indication of the brutal slaughter that awaits Pacquiao in the ring on November 13th, Margarito said this to writer Nick Giongco at the Manila Bulletin, Pacquiao will finally understand “What he had gotten into” [when he steps into the ring with the Mexican warrior].

Yes, Margarito is so right. Pacquiao is marching straight into a massacre and he, his trainer and his adoring, lovesick fans are going to be in shock when Margarito unleashes his blizzard of punches and overwhelms Pacquiao with shots.

We already know that Pacquiao can’t take pressure and backs off at the slightest hint of attack from his opponents. This is what we’ve seen from him in fight after fight, and even in his recent sparring with Amir Khan, Glen Tapia and Michael Median. Margarito’s excellent trainer, Robert Garcia, says [Pacquiao] “Easily backs off” [When attacked.”

How true. Pacquiao backs away like he’s had his hand held over a hot flame any time he gets attacked. He hates it when he’s attacked, and runs the first chance he can get. You keep throwing punches at Pacquiao the way that Erik Morales did in his first fight, and Pacquiao will back up all night long and be as helpless as lamb getting readied to be slaughtered.
