Green, 31, had supposedly been working on making the 168 pound weight limit better for this fight than his last one against Andre Ward in June. However, in recent photos and video, Green looks just as weight drained and weak looking for this fight as the last one.

Having seen many of Green’s fights in the past, Green appears to have lost a lot of muscle on his torso, neck and face in the process of making weight for the Johnson fight. Maybe this is nothing, but I can’t help but to think it could effect him for the Johnson fight by making him too weak to mount of much of an offensive threat to the 41-year-old Johnson. It looks like Green didn’t take the weight off the right way again. He looks way too thin for this fight and he seems to have lost too much muscle.

Green, a replacement for Jermain Taylor in the Super Six tournament, was only able to fight hard for one round of his lopsided 12 round decision loss to Ward in June of this year. After that, Green almost completely stopped punching and laid with his back against the ropes getting battered repeatedly by Ward. If there was anyone that you would think would be weight drained for this fight it would be Johnson, because he’s been fighting at light heavyweight for the past 10 years and has recently been having problems making the 175 pound limit. However, Johnson looks great and has had no problems reducing his weight down to near the 168 limit.
