The Heavyweight division would be way more exciting without the Klitschko brothers!

ByMarquise Bullock: I think I know the cure for the heavyweight division. It’s for the Klitschko brothers to leave. The heavyweight division would be just a little bit more fun to watch again if they weren’t around. I have no problems with the Klitschkos, they’re good fighters. And that’s pretty much the problem, they’re too good. They’re on another level, as of now, and with their physical advantages and quality of heavyweights what’s the point off competing. They have nothing else too prove. They should let the heavyweights off today compete with each other.

Also, the Klitschkos are boring too watch. Jab, jab, jab, clinch. They’re like Arnold Schwarzenegger in “The Terminator”, just so stiff and boring. I only went to one Klitschko fight, and I was board out of my mind. It was the Klitschko-Areola fight in the Staples Center, in Los Angeles. The only thing that made that fight interesting is the fact I met two hot Mexican girls and some guy, and we kick back a couple of brews, and hung out afterwards. Now it’s obvious who’s going to win the Klitschko-Briggs fight, but I would rather see Briggs fight someone like Chris Areola, or James Toney. With all of the heavyweights aiming for the Klitschkos because they have the titles, they skip some pretty good slugfest, heavyweight, classic 90s battles with other fellow heavyweights. The Klitschko brothers are hogging the titles in my opinion.

Now fans might say to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best. Well the Klitschkos will continue to reign as long as they have a license to box. I’d rather see these big blobs with no stamina trying to rip each others head off, than the big stiffs. I believe the heavyweight division could get back in shape without them. I would love too see David Haye, James Toney, Chris Areola, Samuel Peter, Shannon Briggs, Tomasz Adamek, Eddie Chambers, Odlanier Solis, Kevin Johnson, Tony Thompson, David Tua, John Ruiz, Derek Chisora, Audley Harrison, and even Evander Holyfield all go at it, with no interruptions. And a sleeper is Evans Quinn. Quinn is actually in shape with a body like a young Holyfield. Look out for Quinn in the future fight fans!

Imagine a Briggs-Tua fight. That’s a nice slug fest you could sit back and have a few beers to, because you know someone is going to get knocked out. Or a Chambers-Areola fight. A healthy Areola. The fights would be exciting because you know your guaranteed a knockout, not just jab, jab, clinch. Also with that heavyweight roster, you no the belts would alternate frequently. But with the Klitschkos in the picture, and everybody aiming for them, that leaves no room for classic 90s slug fests from today’s heavyweights. Some fans might disagree, but I honestly think the heavyweight division would be way more fun to watch without the Klitschkos. What do you think?
