The backside Worship of Mayweather and Pacquiao

By Scott Brown: In my interest to follow boxing, learn as much as I can, see upcoming events, and share opinions I have been drawn to boxing websites. I enjoy reading the articles and sharing a logical opinion. That can’t be said of some individuals who clamor to these sites while clinching the manhood of many boxers.

I have made posts and had discussions with boxing fans. There seems to be a strain of mental illness that runs rampant though. I have had discussions in which people back and justify their fighter regardless which sadly mimics a hot affair with Blanch from Golden Girls. These folks are kin to celebrity worshippers who would drown their kids or pets if their fighter asked them too, then appropriately blame it on a minority. I would like to analyze these scrubs who possess in their artillery racism, nationalism, straight out hate, and backside worship.

Some folks on these sites can’t see beyond the person’s color or race. Sure, I have no problem with people being proud of their race or a fighter from their own race. After a while this stuff turns sour. If a writer makes a point about a fighter or disagrees that writer quickly receives a racial slur. Another rampant bigot move is when one fighter does a horrible action. Now this clearly gives a blogger a superior reason to hate and generalize a whole population. Another cute consideration is when one fan can’t say anything bad about a fighter because he is certain race or color. Come on Man. Watch the damn fight. Put your robes down, chill on the fist clinch and take a break from French fry grill and chill.

Another silly action is when one fighter does well that constitutes to a whole country or nation. How is that? Gravy if you want to support that. Does that make a whole nation tough as that guy? Does that mean a nation can whoop your nation’s backside? Does that person describes a whole country? Since I am born here I support him. What happened to be entertained? Or enjoying a style? Relax with the flag waving mess. When I watch a fight I am not researching the bio to see if I can support this guy. Some mofo’s have a checklist.

In my short fighting experience which entails sparring and street fights. I give all these guys credit. These make a living getting punched in the face. That is not easy. They don’t have a job. They train. That takes dedication and discipline. You cant puff on weed and drink all day. If someone has accomplished a feat that has got his name recognized or he is getting paid. He is getting paid for a reason. If someone is ranked Pound for Pound, that stuff did not just happen. Quit inventing reasons to hate. Give that person credit.

If a fighter loses, sniffs cocaine, or allegedly beats woman, I don’t care. I am still going to work and pay my bills. I have no relation to these people. I’m not going to support some dude regardless. They are not family. What is this garbage? If someone says something silly about a fighter true or not there seems to be a worshipper who climbs out of bed with his mom and challenges the accusation. Huh. I am a grown man. I am not a fighter’s lackey. I don’t need to set no record straight.
