By Scott Gilfoid: Man, I swear Amir Khan has an obsession with food. In his latest twitter, Khan is talking about eating hamburgers, saying “I’m done eaten my last burger. I’m stuffed.” Earlier today, Khan said “Getting breakfast made. Got food marinated for a BBQ later on.” And yesterday, Khan said “Had my massage, and foods on the table, pasta and chicken. I’m starving.”

Presumably, Khan means the food is on the dinner table, I hope. I can’t imagine him stuffing his face while he’s on the massage table. How sick would that be. I could see it. stuffing his yap with food the whole time he’s getting a massage.

I tell you, Khan is going to eat his way out of the light welterweight division just like he did with the lightweight division. The guy is totally into food. I’ve known people who were like that and they went from skinny like me to full grown blimps in four or five years.

With Khan, I see the same thing. The dude loves food and can’t seem to get enough of it. I think Khan is going to eat his way up to the middleweight or possibly the super middleweight division before he’s through with boxing. But instead of being a lean and muscular middleweight/super middleweight, I’m betting that Khan is going to look fat and have gut on him.

He’ll probably keep fighting but I can’t see him having any luck. By then I see Khan as someone that is taking regular beatings every time he fights someone halfway decent and all the potential of his early youth will be completely gone down the drain from one too many hamburgers and whatever else he’s sticking down his gullet.

This dude needs to step away from the table and stay away. If I was his trainer, I’d get him on 24/7 diet and have someone shadowing him everywhere he goes. For his feedings, I’d have him eating liverworst and spinach three times a day washed down with pure water and nothing else. No snacks, ever. What a eater. You got to get to these guys early before it’s too late and save them from a life of fatness.

Khan has a fight against the talented Marcos Maidana on December 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m wondering if Khan will make for the fight.
