From the opening round Khan came out aggressively landing a solid left jab with power and pin point accuracy. Both men started this fight throwing punches with lightening speed; it was Khan’s punches that hit their mark cleanly every time they were thrown. Khan had an excellent first round.

By the second round Paulie tried to pick up and pace of the fight by throwing his punches more aggressively; Khan easily blocked most of those shots and successfully countered off every jab Paulie threw. Khan essentially began controlling the fight from this point on.

By the third round Paulie was throwing his punches by lunging forward in a very awkward looking way trying to push his punches into his opponent; Khan had no problem countering off the punches and putting together solid combinations to the head and body. Paulie appeared to have a better round but still wasn’t able to keep up with Khan’s speed.

After three rounds were complete Khan was ahead on the unofficial scorecard 3 rounds to none

In the fourth round Khan was fighting in the center of the ring and landing crisp accurate punches at will. Rather than moving side to side and using the ring Paul stood in front of Khan and took a serious beating with little to no countering.

After a few exchanges of punches in the fifth round Paulie went down on what was called a slip. Khan continued to throw and land his jab; Paulie tried to counter off Khan’s jab but isn’t able to land anything solid. During the round Paulie tries to outmuscle Khan and pushes him across the ring before the closing bell.

After the round a replay showed Khan landed a punch before Paulie went down on what was called a slip.

In the sixth round Khan was able to pick off Paulie’s jab blocking it and follow it up with crisp clean counter punches to the head and body; Paulie continued to stand in front of Khan and take a beating. Overall Khan had another big productive round landing his jabs and combinations.

The unofficial scorecard had Khan winning all six rounds

In the seventh round Paulie was fighting with his hands down at his side; Khan landed several jabs to his face. Paulie is being devastated by Khan; Khan continues to pick Paulie apart in every round,

In round eight Khan continues to beat Paulie to the punch, outlanding him with clean, crisp aggressive punches that Paulie has no answer for.

Round nine brings more of the same for Paulie; after the round Paulie’s corner tells him he’s behind on points and needs a knockout to win.

In round 10 Paulie is still a game fighter but Khan is totally dominating him throughout this fight; Khan throws and lands his solid jab, Paulie tries to counter but Khan blocks the punches and comes back landing a solid combination to Paulie’s body and head.

After the tenth round the commission is ready to stop the fight, they decide to let Paulie go one more round.

In round 11 Khan has Paulie on the ropes landing solid punches to the head; Paulie doesn’t return any punches; the referee steps in and calls a halt to the fight 1:25 of round 11; Khan is the winner by way of TKO.
