funeka4543By Peter Wells: Now after 1 fight each Ali Funeka leads the way, but there are more fight to come they are:

Ali Funeka vs Michael Katsidis

Funeka will be in high hopes after beating Mitchell, and Katsidis should be well recovered after losing to Joan Guzman. Ali should struggle at times to get Katsidis out his face and may be knocked down, but once he finds his reach he should take control of the fight to scrape a close decision, on the terms that the judges won’t be against him again.

Joan Guzman vs Edwin Valero

Guzman should now be in full flow and so should new WBA lightweight champion and still WBC champion Edwin Valero. This would be a big fight for Guzman his second crack at a title. Guzman should really win this fight, but I could see Valero picking him apart before another stoppage in round 11.

Paulus Moses vs Kevin Mitchell

After both coming off defeats it would be a hard fight to call, as seems as Mitchell can slug it out if he needs to he should be able to win a close maybe disputed verdict

So after another 3 fights each this is how the table should look so far:

1. Edwin Valero 6pts
2. Ali Funeka 4pts
3. Kevin Mitchell 2pts
4. Joan Guzman 2pts
5. Michael Katsidis 0pts
6. Paulus Moses 0pts
