By Jim Dower: Making his second title defense of his World Boxing Organization (WBO) middleweight title, champion Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15 KO’s) stopped his number #1 contender Russian Gennady Martirosyan (22-2, 11 KO’s) in the 10th round on Sunday night at the Olimp, Krasnodar, Russia.

World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the referee and judges who will work on the Middleweight Title bout between champion, Russian Dmitri Pirog, against Armenian Gennady Martirosyan this Sunday, September 25 at the Olimp, Krasnodar, Russia in a Banner Promotions and GT & KP Promotion presentation.
