The series, Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7, starts officially on October 24th and will go all the way up to their fight on November 24th, at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There will be a grand total of four Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7 episodes with the following dates: October 24th, October 31st, November 7th and November 13th. Man, I’m really hoping these episodes aren’t as bad as the Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7 series because that was hard to stomach for me.

I hope they liven up the series a little this because it’s boring to watch sometimes. I’m not sure it was the last Pacquiao 24/7 or the one before that where he was putting all his helpers on a diet and paying the winner some kind of cash reward for dropping a certain of weight. I could have done without that garbage being put there in the series.

That’s the thing, there’s lot of stuff in the 24/7 series that needs to be left on the cutting room floor. It seems like they just hand the HBO crew cameras and have them film whatever they see and then screen it. They need to be a little more selective about what they show, because I could barely stay awake during the last two 24/7 series with Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is facing his best opponent since Juan Manuel Marquez last year. Miguel Cotto is going to be a lot better than Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton were, and I want to see Pacquiao struggle when he realizes that his punches have absolutely no effect on Cotto. That’s when it will finally dawn on Pacquiao that he’s miscalculated how good Cotto is.
